Since I love books and music, this meme is for fun to try to incorporate those two loves! Whenever I read a book, a certain song -- kind of like a soundtrack or theme song -- plays through my head.
It has been awhile since I have actually done this. I'm sorry! I've been in a kind of rut for the last month or two. I'm going to try to keep with this from now on. Hope you're still willing to join in the fun! Without further ado . . .
Today's song:
Sympathy for the Devil by Guns n' Roses is my pick for Horns by Joe Hill. Upon walking up from a drunken night, Ig finds that horns have grown from his temples; everyone tells him their secret, innermost thoughts; ask permission to do things they normally wouldn't; and he can see things when he touches them. After his encounter with his family, I felt this song fit well, especially since I was feeling sympathy
